December 21, 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n

Police are searching for a silver Mazda BT-50 ute which has a distinctive, damaged white front bumper bar.<\/p>\n

They are seeking information about the vehicle, which has been linked to a shooting in Chinchilla earlier this month.<\/p>\n

Just before 1:30pm on December 5, three people confronted a 36-year-old male resident at a house in Rodger Street.<\/p>\n

During the altercation, the man suffered a gunshot wound to his neck.<\/p>\n

The group then fled in a silver ute with a white bumper.<\/p>\n

The wounded man was airlifted in a serious condition from Chinchilla to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Anyone who has seen the vehicle, has dashcam footage or knows where the vehicle is now have been urged to contact police immediately.<\/p>\n

If the vehicle is sighted, do not approach the vehicle or occupants.<\/p>\n

UPDATE July, 2, 2024:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>A 23-year-old Dalby man was charged on June 14 with attempted murder, armed robbery, attempted armed robbery, receiving tainted property and unlicensed driving; two counts of evading police, three counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, and five counts of enter and commit.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

A 25-year-old Dalby woman has been charged with attempted murder, attempted armed robbery, armed robbery, dangerous operation of a vehicle, evading police, driving a motor vehicle while unlicensed and two counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle. <\/span><\/p>\n

The wanted vehicle was recovered in northern NSW.<\/span><\/p>\n
