Two South Burnett RSL sub-branches have received funding under the latest round of funding from the State Government’s Anzac Day Trust Fund.<\/p>\n

Murgon and Nanango sub-branches are among 179 ex-service organisations benefiting from across Queensland.<\/p>\n

The Anzac Day Trust Fund Grant Program, funded by the State Government since 1965, is administered by the Queensland Veterans\u2019 Council.<\/p>\n

The South Burnett recipients are:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Murgon RSL Sub-Branch – Financial assistance, funerals, members’ functions\/activities, hospital\/aged care\/respite support welfare assistance, meals\/food\/clothing, and commemorative events –\u00a0 $13,792.55<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Nanango RSL Sub-Branch – Members’ functions\/activities, funerals, welfare assistance and administration – $38,703.77<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      2023 Anzac Day Trust Fund COVID-19 Grant Program<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      • Nanango RSL Sub-Branch – COVID-safe commemorative events, lost income (through sales and fundraising) – $8965<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
