Airbnb users have rated the South Burnett as one of Australia’s most hospitable regions, according to data supplied by the short-term homestay company.<\/p>\n

The company, which advertises short-stay rentals online and via an app, says it recently updated its platform to include revamped ratings and reviews.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson said airbnb properties in the South Burnett received a 94 per cent share of five-star reviews over the past year, making it one of the most hospitable areas in the country.<\/p>\n

Other regions with the highest percentage of five-star reviews included:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Latrobe, Tasmania<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Macedon Ranges, Victoria<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • Central Coast, Tasmania<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          • Moorabool, Victoria<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
              \n
            • Wangaratta, Victoria<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                \n
              • Alice Springs, Northern Territory<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                  \n
                • Southern Downs, Queensland<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                    \n
                  • Upper Lachlan Shire, NSW<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    The ratings were based on listings with the most five-star reviews received between October 1, 2022, and September 30, 2023.<\/p>\n

                    A quick look at the airbnb website shows there are almost 60 venues listed in the greater South Burnett region, ranging from renovated former churches to more formal farmstays.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
