Applications for the 2024 Red Earth Community Leadership Program at the Bunya Mountains have been extended until midnight on Monday, November 13.<\/p>\n

The program is held over two weekends in February and March.<\/p>\n

A Red Earth spokesperson said people who had completed the program had described it as “transformative”.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe program had a huge impact on my life, both personally and professionally,” 2019 alumni Amanda Wenck said.<\/p>\n

“To be able to carve out some time to focus on growth, spend time with like-minded people, and learn so many valuable skills that I still implement to this day was such a valuable experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

There are a number of bursaries available to fund spots in the program, providing an opportunity for applicants to attend at no cost.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cEverybody is a leader in some way,\u201d Red Earth general manager, and 2018 alumni, Melinda Jones said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe all have spheres of influence and a part to play within our communities and our region.\u201d<\/p>\n

Applications are invited from across the South and North Burnett, Cherbourg, and the Burnett catchment area, regardless of background or age.<\/p>\n

No prior leadership experience is required.<\/p>\n
