The licensed bar was the spot to be at the South Burnett Regional Council’s Day At The Dam music festival last Saturday.<\/p>\n

Bjelke-Petersen Dam provided the perfect backdrop for the day, which featured a string of local bands before the feature acts took to the stage.<\/p>\n

The music kicked off about 2:00pm, with entertainment by Rockin’ Our Abilities, Sparrow, Soul Good and Ryza.<\/p>\n

Then country singers Will Day, Casey Barnes and Taylor Moss took over before the headline act, The Wolfe Brothers, grabbed the spotlight.<\/p>\n

A Council spokesperson said 750 people came through the gate to enjoy the concert.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the early afternoon, most were gathered in the licensed area, enjoying cool drinks on a very hot day.<\/p>\n

The \u201cDay at the Dam Music Festival and Community Event\u201d was funded under the Federal and State Government\u2019s \u201cQueensland Floods Flexible Funding Grants\u201d funding scheme.<\/p>\n

“The event\u2019s energetic host, CROW-FM\u2019s Chantal Harth, and the valuable support of the Bjelke-Petersen Dam Caravan and Recreation Park managers Heath and Rowena Sander, SBRC staff, and dedicated volunteers contributed to a successful event,” the spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

“Moreover, it provided a wonderful opportunity for locals to connect with essential community agencies such as RACQ, Drought Angels, Lives Lived Well, Head to Health, Your Town, and the Local Disaster Management Team.”<\/p>\n

A shuttle bus provided transport to the venue.<\/p>\n
