October 20, 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n

The South Burnett Race Club will be holding its annual Caulfield Cup race meeting – always one of its biggest meetings of the year – at the Wondai Racecourse on Saturday (October 21).<\/p>\n

It will be a five-race meeting and the first race will leave the barriers at 1:35pm.<\/p>\n

As usual, the meeting will feature an on-course TAB, live telecasts of interstate races, an undercover betting ring, barbecue and bar, as well as the Lady Luck Cocktail Bar.<\/p>\n

This meeting’s theme is “Spring Florals” and guests who dress to it can compete in the Fashions Of The Field competition for great prizes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The fashion competition will be open to women and men and boys and girls.<\/p>\n

Gates will open at the track about 11:30am and the feature race of the day – the Roy and Glenis Radunz Wondai Cup – will leave the barriers at 4:05pm.<\/p>\n

Saturday’s meeting is being sponsored by Peries IGA Wondai, Seiler Earthmoving, Hobbs & Associates Accounting and Roy and Glenis Radunz.<\/p>\n

Admission to the racecourse is $10, and guests should bring cash because there is no EFTPOS available on site.<\/p>\n
