The South Burnett Car Club held its annual show and swap meet at Nanango Showgrounds on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

Club publicity officer Scooter Young said it was the eighth year that the meet had been held and it was “the best and biggest yet”.<\/p>\n

There were 48 cars and bikes registered – everything from fully restored 1970s classics to \u00a0heavily modified custom cars – competing for trophies and attracting a good crowd of onlookers.<\/p>\n

There were also 12 swap sites.<\/p>\n

The next big car show in the South Burnett will be the South Burnett Gas Guzzler’s “Raising Hell in Maidenwell” \u00a0show’n’shine from July 5-7.<\/p>\n

This show is open to ASRF hot rods, pre-1975 customs and classics, and vintage vans.<\/p>\n

There will be live music, a pig-on-the-spit and car games. \u00a0The public day will be Saturday July 6.<\/p>\n
