September 15, 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n

Applications are now open for the 2024 AgriFutures Rural Women\u2019s Award.<\/p>\n

The award, sponsored by Westpac, is designed to empower and celebrate inclusive and courageous leadership by women involved in Australia\u2019s rural and emerging industries.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Queensland winner will receive a $15,000 grant to further their work.<\/p>\n

The will also represent Queensland at the national awards where they have the chance to receive an extra $20,000 grant.<\/p>\n

The Queensland Country Women\u2019s Association will also provide an extra $2000 grant to Queensland finalists.<\/p>\n

AgriFutures Australia is also offering the Rural Women\u2019s Acceleration Grant as a leadership and development opportunity for rural women who feel they are not quite ready to apply for the award.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This grant provides a bursary of up to $7000 for professional development.<\/p>\n

Applications for the 2024 AgriFutures Rural Women\u2019s Award close on October 25.<\/p>\n
