Young musicians from Moffatdale State School took to the stage at the official opening of Wondai Art Gallery’s September exhibition on Friday night.<\/p>\n

Artworks by students from the school are featured in Kidz Korner this month, but the focus on opening night was on the musical cohort who played a range of instruments.<\/p>\n

The audience was filled with their proud parents and friends.<\/p>\n

The September exhibition also features works by a string of South Burnett-based artists.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Julie Tomlinson has “New Beginnings” in the front gallery, while the latest works by the Monday Artists group are in the main gallery.<\/p>\n

“Satisfaction”, which features a range of styles and media, is the group’s ninth exhibition together.<\/p>\n

Trish Erkens has taken over the third gallery with her “Pieces Of Me” exhibition.<\/p>\n

Trish has been a serious artist for more than 30 years and has won numerous awards.<\/p>\n

The exhibitions will remain on display at the Wondai Regional Art Gallery\u00a0 until 3:00pm on September 30.<\/p>\n

The gallery is open seven days a week, from 10:00am to 3:00pm.<\/p>\n

Entry is free.<\/p>\n
