Police have charged a 12-year-old boy after an armed robbery occurred at Nanango on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

It will be alleged around 5:20am, three people drove into the United Petroleum service station in Henry Street in a vehicle reportedly stolen from Hawthorne in Brisbane on August 31.<\/p>\n

A police spokesperson said one of the trio allegedly presented a hammer and threatened an employee inside the premises.<\/p>\n

The group then left with money and property and fled in the vehicle.<\/p>\n

The stolen vehicle was located later on Saturday and a 12-year-old Wulkuraka boy was taken into custody at Woolloongabba.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He has been charged with armed robbery and unlawful use of a motor vehicle (publish on social media).<\/p>\n

He was refused police bail and is due to appear in Beenleigh Children’s Court on Monday.<\/p>\n
