A driver was lucky to escape injury when a vehicle pulling a caravan overturned near Booubyjan on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to the incident on the Burnett Highway about 1:40pm.<\/p>\n

A QAS spokesperson said paramedics assessed one person at the scene, but they were uninjured and declined transport to hospital.<\/p>\n

Traffic on the highway was disrupted while emergency crews were at the scene.<\/p>\n

Murgon police are investigating the theft of about six metres of suction hose, with fittings and a valve attached, from a property at Coverty.<\/p>\n

The thieves entered the property on Coverty Road\u00a0 between 2:00pm on August 6 and 9:00am on August 9.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information has been encouraged to contact police.<\/p>\n

A 21-year-old Cherbourg man will appear in the Murgon Magistrates Court on September 5 charged with drug possession after police stopped a vehicle on the Bunya Highway at Murgon on August 21.<\/p>\n

A vehicle parked in a health facility car park on Fisher Street in Cherbourg was broken into about 3:15am on August 19.<\/p>\n
