Nanango Theatre Company is playing for laughs again with three light-hearted productions about to hit the stage on Friday.<\/p>\n

The trio of one-act plays has been dubbed “Firsts, Lasts and a Bowler Hat” by the enthusiastic group of local performers.<\/p>\n

\u201cBirthday Surprise” has been written by the Nanango Theatre Company’s Annette McKeith and is being directed by Jon Fearnley.<\/p>\n

This is a totally South Burnett play which will be making its world premiere on Friday night!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cLast Tango In Little Grimley” is a longer play packed with laughs.<\/p>\n

Jenny Morgan is making her debut as a director with this production.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Man In The Bowler Hat”\u00a0 is another quirky one act play which is being directed by Anne Davoren.<\/p>\n

The cast and crew of the three plays have been working hard in rehearsals to serve up another smorgasbord of theatre for local residents.<\/p>\n

“Firsts, Lasts and a Bowler Hat” debuts this Friday (July 28), with a 7:00pm performance at the Nanango Theatre Company’s playhouse on the corner of Elk and George Streets, Nanango.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This will be followed by a 2:00pm matinee and 7:00pm evening performance on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The performance times will be duplicated next Friday and Saturday (August 4-5).<\/p>\n
