The South Burnett Saints’ men’s team has clocked up back-to-back wins in the Darling Downs AFL competition.<\/p>\n

After downing Toowoomba Tigers on July 1, the Saints hit the road to Warwick last Saturday where they took on the Redbacks.<\/p>\n

This time they were ahead 13.8-86 to 6.8-44 when the full-time hooter sounded.<\/p>\n

Saints peppered the sticks with Nathan Trace (6) and Fletcher Brown (5) having a field say.<\/p>\n

Other goals were \u00a0kicked by Blake Jacobson and Dimas Bakini.<\/p>\n

This Saturday, the Saints will be hosting another big home game at Lyle Vidler Oval.<\/p>\n

It’s the annual Heritage Day celebration where former players – and the former Kingaroy Bulldogs – will be the focus of attention.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Games start at 9:30am with an U12s Mixed game between Goondiwindi Hawks and Toowoomba Tigers.<\/p>\n

Then at 11:00am, the Saints U14s Mixed team will take on the Tigers.<\/p>\n

The Saints’ men’s and women’s teams will be facing the Goondiwindi Hawks in the afternoon.<\/p>\n

The women’s game will start at 12:45pm and the men’s at 2:30pm.<\/p>\n

After the four games, the fun will kick on with a live band from 4:30pm, raffles and Heritage Day jersey auctions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
