$100,000 has been allocated in Council’s Budget for upgrades at Kingaroy Airport<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Two South Burnett cemeteries were earmarked for upgrades in the recent Council Budget.<\/p>\n

Taabinga Cemetery, just outside Kingaroy, will be expanded at a cost of $52,000, and the car park and internal roads will receive a $75,000 makeover.<\/p>\n

Proston Cemetery will also be expanded and work done on the internal road at a cost of $30,000.<\/p>\n

Another $25,000 has been allocated to upgrade signage at South Burnett cemeteries.<\/p>\n

Money has also be allocated for airport upgrades<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kingaroy Aerodrome’s security fence and gate will be allotted another $60,000 (50 per cent funded by the Federal Government) and $40,000 will be spent on linemarking.<\/p>\n
