Emergency services were called to reports a bus was on fire in a caravan park at South Nanango on Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n

Five fire crews were called to the incident, off the D’Aguilar Highway, just before 8:00pm.<\/p>\n

A QFES spokesperson said firefighters, including two wearing breathing apparatus, fought the blaze from both inside and outside the vehicle.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, the flames did not spread to nearby vegetation.<\/p>\n

The fire was contained by 8:20pm and completely extinguished by 8:40pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Police and ambulance crews also attended, but the vehicle was vacant at the time and no one was injured.<\/p>\n

QAS crews remained on standby throughout the incident.<\/p>\n

Investigations have determined the fire was caused by an electrical fault and was not suspicious.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
