Police have identified a man who allegedly threatened an 18-year-old woman in Murgon on Saturday night before stealing her car.<\/p>\n

The woman was robbed while she was sitting in a car outside the IGA supermarket in Lamb Street, Murgon.<\/p>\n

Initial investigations by police indicate a man approached the victim about 7:00pm.<\/p>\n

He opened the passenger door of the white 2008 Toyota Yaris and allegedly threatened the woman.<\/p>\n

The offender then grabbed the woman, but she managed to get out of the car and flee.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The man then drove off in the vehicle.<\/p>\n

The Toyota was discovered burnt out at Collins Road, Cherbourg, about an hour later.<\/p>\n

Police have identified the offender and are currently conducting inquiries to locate him.<\/p>\n
