Nanango State School student Zach Douglass has been selected to play for Australia in a futsal tournament in Fiji.<\/p>\n

Zach’s performance at a recent schools competition impressed talent scouts from the Australian Futsal Association.<\/p>\n

The association congratulated Zach this week.<\/p>\n

“Along with Zach’s remarkable achievement, we also extend our warmest congratulations to the entire Australian team. It is a great honour to represent our country, and you have done so with great skill, talent, and dedication,” an AFA spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

“Zach’s achievement not only brings honour to himself but also to the community of the South Burnett, particularly his hometown, Nanango. The district is incredibly proud of him and the amazing feats he achieved in the field of futsal.<\/p>\n

“Zach is both an inspiration to young and established athletes alike. His dedication and hard work have paid off, and we are sure that he will continue to represent Australia with pride and make us proud.”<\/p>\n
