Goomeri P-10 School’s P&C has received a welcome $2000 boost from the CRT Primary Schools Program.<\/p>\n

Andrew Holden, owner of Nedloh Rural Goomeri, visited the school this week to hand over the cheque.<\/p>\n

Goomeri P-10 is one of five schools in Queensland – and 25 across Australia – to receive support from the program<\/p>\n

Andrew said Goomeri P-10 played a vital role in the local community.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis program is focused on recognising the important role P&C associations play in supporting the growth and development of the next generation,” he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cCRT is proud to provide a helping hand to support.”<\/p>\n

The P&C will use the cash to buy a refrigerated water cooler \/ bubbler.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“With Goomeri hitting 45 degrees in summer, the importance of being able to get access to a cold drink is vital,” Andrew said.<\/p>\n

“The kids are looking forward to the new bubbler.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr Holden said Nedloh Rural was always looking at ways to support the local community.<\/p>\n

CRT General Manager Greg O\u2019Neil says applications for the program had been overwhelming.<\/p>\n
