The early patrons were able to sit back, have a drink and relax while their children were entertained in \u201cKiddies Corner\u201d with face painting and other activities generously run by the ladies from Kingaroy Bunnings,&#8221; a spokesman said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As the light faded and a little rain visited the event, everyone\u2019s spirits were not dampened because it wasn\u2019t long before they were able to enjoy the delicious entr\u00e9e, main meal and dessert all beautifully prepared in camp ovens by the terrific Bait Layers Camp Oven Cooks and Caterers.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The evening culminated in an auction plus drawing of the raffle prizes. Congratulations to all that scored an auction bargain or one of the great raffle prizes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This could not have been achieved without those that purchased tickets, our hardworking committee and the generosity of numerous local businesses and individuals.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Please note there will be a presentation of the cheque to RACQ LifeFlight Rescue on May 18 at the Kingaroy RSL Club.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;All those that made a donation of cash, goods or in kind are most welcome to join us. Meals and drinks will be available from the RSL at your own cost.
