Police peacefully defused a tense seven-hour stand-off in Nanango on Sunday evening.<\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to the incident in Hay Street about midday in relation to an alleged domestic violence-related matter.<\/p>\n

A 26-year-old man, who was believed to be armed with a crossbow, refused to leave the address.<\/p>\n

Police negotiated with the man, who was taken into custody without incident just after 7:00pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A police spokesperson said no one was physically injured.<\/p>\n

The man was transported to Kingaroy Hospital.<\/p>\n

Investigations remain ongoing.<\/p>\n
