The Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) is running three events in May to help mark Small Business Month.<\/p>\n

Each of the events will be held at their KCCI Hub office in Kingaroy Street.<\/p>\n

On Monday, May 8, an ICT Round Table will be hosted by Scott Rowe from NBN Local.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event will run from noon to 2:00pm and will include lunch.<\/p>\n

“ICT is a growth industry and we want to make sure business and service providers in our region have the capacity to be industry leaders right here in the South Burnett,” KCCI president Damien Martoo said.<\/p>\n

On Monday evening (May 8), NBN Local will be hosting the KCCI’s latest monthly meet’n’greet from 5:15pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Guest speakers will be NBN Australia Community Engagement Manager Scott Rowe, LEAP Entrepreneurship Facilitator Jason Virtue and Department of Development, Infrastructure (Wide Bay Burnett) Senior Economic Development Officer Ivan Rasmussen.<\/p>\n

RSVPs for this event should be sent by email<\/a> to KCCI secretary Paul Greenwood.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Tuesday, May 9, home based businesses and start-ups will have the opportunity to set up pop-up stalls at KCCI Hub.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“We will have NBN Local on site for drop-ins, Business LEAP helping new businesses navigate the hurdles of starting a business plus other service providers all together in the one room,” Damien said.<\/p>\n

“It is a free event thanks to partners NBN Australia, Business Leap and our platinum partner, Garden Grove Landscape Supplies.”<\/p>\n
