Wondai Swimming Pool was the place to be on Saturday morning … not only was it the perfect spot to cool off in the heat, it was also the official opening of the South Burnett Regional Council\u2019s new $300,000 Splash Play Area.<\/p>\n

The paddle pool is designed to allow small children to splash about and have fun among rocks and mini fountains.<\/p>\n

There were plenty of children – and quite a few councillors – exploring the new play area on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Another special guest was the Easter Bunny who organised an Easter Egg hunt for the children.<\/p>\n

This Splash Play Area project was supported by a grant from the Federal Government.<\/p>\n
