A young boy was airlifted to hospital after being injured at the Maidenwell bull ride on Saturday evening.<\/p>\n

QAS paramedics were called to the incident, at the Maidenwell Oval, at 6:43pm.<\/p>\n

The boy was flown by a LifeFlight Rescue helicopter to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition, accompanied by his mother.<\/p>\n

A LifeFlight spokesperson said the boy had been riding a bull when he was bucked off.<\/p>\n

The beast then turned and stood on the boy’s leg, breaking his femur.<\/p>\n

The bull ride is an important fundraiser for the Tanduringie State School P&C.<\/p>\n
