On a soggy afternoon on Saturday, Gunners defeated Barambah in both First and Second Division.<\/p>\n

The women\u2019s game was deferred to Sunday afternoon and the Barambah girls picked up their first win of the season against Gunnettes.<\/p>\n

In Second Division, Gunners defeated Barambah 3-1. In just 17 seconds Gunners scored their first through Christian Langford who could not believe his luck when the Barambah defence opened up. This could be the fastest goal ever scored in the history of the competition.<\/p>\n

However Barambah did not let their heads drop and in the 17th minute, Brendan Kelly put Barambah back on equal terms.<\/p>\n

Four minutes after half-time Gunners Chris O\u2019Rourke put Gunners back into the lead and three minutes after that Christian Langford scored his second to give Gunners a 3-1 win.<\/p>\n

In First Division, Gunners defeated Barambah 7-0.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Most of the Barambah players had played in the Second Division game and found it tiring in the wet conditions, but to their credit they never gave up.<\/p>\n

Ike Sililat got Gunners on the score board after 14 minutes, followed three minutes later by Ryan Mooney who extended the lead to 2-0.<\/p>\n

Gunners were very strong in the midfield, built by the confidence they had in their defence.<\/p>\n

In the 24th minute Sam Murray scored from long range and then just before halftime Brody Hatchman added to the score line to give his side a 4-0 lead at the break.<\/p>\n

Barambah came out in the second half with an improved game and kept Gunners scoreless until the 75th minute when Anthony Lindholme scored.<\/p>\n

In the dying minutes of the game Barambah looked out on their feet. In the 84th minute Sam Murray scored his second and in the 87th minute Ike Sililat also scored his second.<\/p>\n

Best for Gunners were Sam Murray, who is having a stellar season so far, Ryan Mooney for his assists and Brendan McCarron who played some great balls out of defence.<\/p>\n

Barambah\u2019s best were Chris O\u2019Loughlin, who never gave up trying to get his team back in the game, Joel Sommerfeld and goal keeper Brad Vanderkolk who made some great saves for his team.<\/p>\n
