The Manumbar Campdraft and Hall Association will receiver $35,000 to resurface the campdraft arena<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Fourteen local groups will share almost $410,000 in funding thanks to the latest round of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund.<\/p>\n

The biggest winners are the Blackbutt & District Pony Club, Manumbar Campdraft and Hall Association, Murgon State School P&C, Nanango and District Cricket Club, South Burnett Saints AFL Club and the Tablelands Rural Fire Brigade which will all receive $35,000 each.<\/p>\n

The successful local groups were:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Blackbutt & District Pony Club – $35,000 – Buy a mower<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    • Cooyar Campdraft Association – $31,450 – Buy cattle panels and a bale feeder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      • Goomeri Bowls Club – $31,302.79 – Upgrade facility and buy equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          \n
        • Gordonbrook Rural Fire Brigade – $27,069.86 – Upgrade facility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            \n
          • Kilkivan Community Gym Inc – $24,670 – Upgrade facility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
              \n
            • Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce Inc – $23,845.90 – Upgrade facility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                \n
              • Manumbar Campdraft and Hall Association – $35,000 – Resurface campdraft arena<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                  \n
                • Murgon State School P&C – $35,000 – Upgrade oval, install irrigation system and water tanks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                    \n
                  • Nanango and District Cricket Club – $35,000 – Upgrade cricket nets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                      \n
                    • Nanango RSL Sub-Branch – $8195 – Install doors and paint<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                        \n
                      • South Burnett Community Orchestra – $28,214 – Buy equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                          \n
                        • South Burnett Saints AFL Club – $35,000 – Install scoreboard and buy sports camera<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                            \n
                          • Tablelands Rural Fire Brigade – $35,000 – Upgrade facility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                              \n
                            • Yarraman Local Ambulance Committee – $24,490.85 – Buy a training mannequin and defibrillator<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                              Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington congratulated the successful applicants.<\/strong><\/p>\n

                              \u201cThis is a great start to 2023 for these community groups and it is wonderful they will be able to complete key projects for their groups and members,\u201d Mrs Frecklington said.<\/p>\n
