Police are investigating a suspected carjacking in Kingaroy on Monday night.<\/p>\n

A police spokesperson confirmed a man has reported he was approached by a group of youths in Fisher Street about 9:00pm.<\/p>\n

The group, believed to number about four, then allegedly assaulted the man and demanded he hand over his car keys.<\/p>\n

The man was left very shaken after the incident.<\/p>\n

The youths then drove off in a Holden Cruze.<\/p>\n

The same vehicle is believed to have been involved in an incident in Cherbourg on Tuesday, which prompted the State School to go into lockdown.<\/p>\n
