November 10, 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n

The annual general meeting of the Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be held in their new office this month.<\/p>\n

The AGM, to start at 5:30pm on November 30, will be an opportunity for members to check out the new KCCI Hub at 195 Kingaroy Street.<\/p>\n

The Hub is located in the former Trendsetter building which the South Burnett Regional Council bought in late 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It has since been leased by the KCCI for use as a small business incubator and office for the association.<\/p>\n

Extensive renovations have since taken place, including the removal of asbestos and the installation of new toilets.<\/p>\n

The Murgon Business & Development Association also held its AGM this month.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The meeting was held on Thursday morning at the Royal Hotel in Gore Street.<\/p>\n

Leo Geraghty (Clifton Motors) was re-elected president, Margaret Long (Murgon Real Estate) was re-elected secretary and Lorraine Goodchild (Boonara Homestead) was re-elected treasurer.<\/p>\n
