More than 60 shooters took part in the \u201cKingaroy Pistols & Peanuts\u201d open shoot at the South Burnett Pistol Club in Kingaroy at the weekend.<\/p>\n

The three-day event began with black powder shooting on Friday, followed by ISSF-sanctioned air pistol, centrefire and standard match events on Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n

Shooters came from clubs across Queensland to take part in the events.<\/p>\n

Club president Tony Rossi said he was pleased with the roll-up.<\/p>\n

On the Saturday and Sunday, shooters took part in 10m, 25m and 50m competitions.<\/p>\n

It has been a busy time at the South Burnett Pistol Club, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last month, it hosted the Queensland State Championships for Black Powder Pistols.<\/p>\n

Jeff Greening was crowned 25m champion and Aggregate State Champion, while Marie Kent took the 50m title.<\/p>\n
