Local not-for-profit groups will share more than $1 million in grants from the latest round of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund.<\/p>\n

The Round 114 grants were announced by the State Government on Friday morning.<\/p>\n

Among the biggest winners are the Mondure community with the hall committee granted $100,000 towards the replacement of Mondure Hall’s roof and $30,727 for\u00a0a local co-operative water scheme.<\/p>\n

The Ironpot Hall Association also received $20,000 to put towards the replacement of the Ironpot Hall roof.<\/p>\n

Tansey Bowls Club, which was devastated by floods earlier this year, will receive $100,000 to upgrade the facility, and Goomeri Show Society will receive $64,835.<\/p>\n

Kingaroy State School P&C\u00a0will receive $100,000 to repair courts and pathways and install an elevated slab.<\/p>\n

Wondai-Proston Wolves will receive almost $100,000 to upgrade their fields, shed and canteen.<\/p>\n

Wondai Tennis Association ($93,610) and Blackbutt Tennis Club ($48,140) have also been supported for court upgrades.<\/p>\n

  • Mondure Public Hall Committee – Upgrade roof – $100,000<\/li>\n
  • Mondure Water Supply – Upgrade water infrastructure – $30,727<\/li>\n
  • Nanango Bowls Club – Install shade sails – $23,252<\/li>\n
  • South Burnett Little Athletics – Buy ride-on mower and equipment – $6453<\/li>\n
  • Tableland Public Hall Association – Upgrade facility – $34,650<\/li>\n
  • Tansey Men’s Bowls Club – Upgrade facility – $100,000<\/li>\n
  • Tansey Show Society – Repair tennis court, clubhouse and buy equipment – $61,457<\/li>\n
  • Wooroolin QCWA – Construct storage building – $34,340<\/li>\n
  • Widge Hall And Recreation Association – Upgrade facility’s electrics – $17,600<\/li>\n
  • Windera State School P&C – Construct playground – $35,000<\/li>\n
  • Wondai Tennis Association – Resurface courts and install basketball hoop – $93,610<\/li>\n
  • Wondai Proston Wolves RLFC – Upgrade fields, shed and canteen – $99,994<\/li>\n
  • Wondai RSL Sub-Branch – Repair roof – $24,819<\/li>\n
  • Woolooga State School P&C – Install electronic sign – $28,000<\/li>\n
  • Yarraman Progress Association – Upgrade website – $2500<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
