The SBRCs 2021-22 Annual Report has been released<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

October 31, 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n

South Burnett Regional Council has released its latest annual report after voting to do so at last week’s Ordinary Meeting.<\/p>\n

By law, all Queensland councils are obliged to produce an Annual Report shortly after the end of each financial year.<\/p>\n

The report is then vetted by the Department of Local Government and Planning to ensure it complies with State guidelines.<\/p>\n

After this, the Department’s approval to release the Annual Report is usually given in late October or early November.<\/p>\n

The report covers the Council\u2019s major achievements in 2021-22 and reports how well \u2013 or otherwise \u2013 it is meeting performance targets and long-term goals.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It also provides financial data that outlines where the Council\u2019s money came from and how it was spent.<\/p>\n
