Michael Wostear will be captaining the South Burnett side to take on Gympie on Sunday in Round 2 of the Goodchild Shield competition<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

October 28, 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both South Burnett junior and senior cricketers will be in action this weekend in representative games.<\/p>\n

South Burnett Under 12s, Under 14s and Under 16s will be playing at One Mile Oval in Gympie on Sunday in Round 2 of the Wide Bay Intercity Challenge.<\/p>\n

Round 1 was washed out last weekend.<\/p>\n

Also on Sunday, a South Burnett XI will be taking part in a Round 2 Goodchild Shield game against Gympie at Lyle Vidler Oval.<\/p>\n

The Under 12s<\/strong> squad is: Darcy Harmsworth, Joe Carney, Ledger Comello, Jamie Sherwell, Darcy Cullen, Braxton Bartlett, Hudson Murphy, Jeremiah Litzow, Mackenzie Bourke, Elliott Black, Adisyn Martin and Mason Fuller-Sandys. Coach: Jamie Harmsworth<\/p>\n

The Under 14s<\/strong> squad is: Josh Williams, Byron Kratzmann, Rory O’Connor, Jamie Searle, Hayden Donohue, Levi Steinhardt, Isaac Hauritz, Cornelius Curtain, Angus Elford, Josie Black, Jayden Prendergast and Theo Kelly. Coach: Adam Kratzmann<\/p>\n

The Under 16s<\/strong> squad is: Noah Birch, Lawson Black, Hunter Brown, Lochlan Burrows, Lachlan Cullen, Joshua Fearby, Jackson Kerkow, Archie Koehler, Braidyn Scott, Tom Town and James Whiteman. Coach: Brett Burrows<\/p>\n

The South Burnett Goodchild Shield<\/strong> squad is Michael Wostear (captain), Ashley Sippel (vice-captain), Kurt McArthur, Reg Wenham, Tyler Heness, Brenton Polzin, Lleyton Brown, Fletcher Brown, Chris Curtis, Nick Sanewski, Kieran Askin, Tom Currin, Trent Riddell and Ashley Louis.<\/p>\n

Kingaroy’s Charlotte Love has been selected to play in the Coastal Burners team which will compete in the Under 15 Female State Challenge.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The competition is being hosted by Queensland Cricket and Redlands Cricket Club from December 12-15.<\/p>\n
