Crime Stoppers have launched a 3-2-1 campaign<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Crime Stoppers have launched a “3,2,1” campaign in a bid to get more illegal firearms off the streets.<\/p>\n

The campaign follows the end of the State Government’s amnesty on weapons and urges Queenslanders to “dob in” illegal weapons anonymously.<\/p>\n

Concerned citizens are being urged to call 1800 333-000 or visit\u00a0www.easyas321.com.au<\/a><\/strong> to report illegal firearms.<\/p>\n

“Each year, terrible crimes and tragic accidents continue to occur because of illegal firearms,” a Crime Stoppers spokesman said.<\/p>\n

“An unregistered or illegal firearm can easily get in the wrong hands; whether it be used by a criminal or even a child who mistakes it for a toy.<\/p>\n

“Reducing the threat of illegal firearms has never been easier and sharing information anonymously removes any fear of retaliation.<\/p>\n

“How can we guarantee the illegal firearm will never be used in a terrible crime or even a tragic accident? We can\u2019t. <\/p>\n

“With your help, though, we can take it out of circulation. It\u2019s as easy as 3, 2, 1.”<\/p>\n
