Grade competition and juniors mustering for games in Nanango.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #006699;\"><strong>A Grade<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Round 4 of the Gympie A Grade competition featured a clash between the two South Burnett teams, Murgon Crusaders and Wooroolin Warriors, at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Crusaders came out on top defeating Warriors by 58 runs.<\/p>\n<p>Murgon won the toss, batted first and were 6\/236 at the end of their 40 overs.<\/p>\n<p>Ashley Sippel just missed out on his ton, not out 96 off 71 balls when Murgon ran out of time.<\/p>\n<p>Captain Brenton Polzin hit a quickfire 43 runs off 42 balls to be the next best scorer.<\/p>\n<p>Chris Curtis was the best of the Wooroolin bowlers, finishing with 2\/39 off seven overs.<\/p>\n<p>In reply, Wooroolin were all out for 178.<\/p>\n<p>Curtis (81), Caylan Brown (36) and Luke Smith (30) were the top scorers.<\/p>\n<p>Tom Currin did the damage for Murgon, taking 5\/27 off seven overs, including one maiden.<\/p>\n<p>Both the South Burnett teams will be in action again locally this weekend, with Warriors playing at Lyle Vidler and Crusaders at Murgon, against Gympie teams.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_325058\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-325058\" style=\"width: 740px\" South Burnett Cricket Association&#8217;s senior competition saw games played in Murgon, Kingaroy and Nanango.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It was also the debut of some new-named teams filled with familiar faces &#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>At Murgon Sportsground, Murgon (270) defeated Tingoora Vikings (10\/69).<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Luke Fryer starred for Murgon, hitting 112 runs off just 89 balls.<\/p>\n<p>Opener Andrew Roderick added to the tally with a very handy 78.<\/p>\n<p>Vikings&#8217; Scott Butters tore through Murgon&#8217;s tail, taking 4\/18 as well as two catches in the field.<\/p>\n<p>In reply, Bradley Moore was the only Tingoora batter to make a start, hitting 18 runs off 18 balls.<\/p>\n<p>David Stimpson and (3\/7 off five), Byron Kratzmann (3\/13 off eight, including 4 maidens) and Jaden Heness (2\/11 off eight, including 6 maidens) were the pick of the Murgon bowlers.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>At Taabinga State School in Kingaroy, Kingaroy Services Blue (201) were defeated by Wondai (7\/307).<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wondai&#8217;s team, which included several former Cherbourg players, won the toss and batted first.<\/p>\n<p>Torren Anderton, who carried his bat, clocked up 146 runs of 109 balls, including 20 fours and 6 sixes to dominate the Kingaroy bowlers.<\/p>\n<p>David Warner was unlucky to be run out on 98 after hitting 8 sixes and 8 fours in his innings.<\/p>\n<p>Trevor Black took 3\/36 off his six overs for Kingaroy Blue, including two maiden overs.<\/p>\n<p>In reply, Joshua Fearby also just missed out on his century, caught out on 98.<\/p>\n<p>Fletcher Black (32) and Tim Blanch (24) also added some very useful runs.<\/p>\n<p>Wondai bowlers shared the honours with Roy Barrett (2\/22), Jackson Merritt (2\/24) and Jaycob Brazier (2\/26) testing the Kingaroy batters.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>At Kingaroy State School, Wooroolin Warriors (4\/125) defeated Kingaroy Services Orange (120) by six wickets.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>At the River Road Oval in Kingaroy,\u00a0 Nanango Purple (4\/50) defeated Nanango Yellow (48).<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #006699;\">South Burnett Juniors<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Kingaroy&#8217;s Junior Master Blasters series for junior cricketers got under way on Friday at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Games will be played on Friday nights under lights from 6:00pm.<\/p>\n<p>Players can <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/play.cricket.com.au\/club\/kingaroy-junior-cricket-association-inc\/a56dd175-87d8-eb11-a7ad-2818780da0cc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">register online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2
