Registrations are now open for the “Health Crisis Meeting” in Kingaroy on August 9 which is being organised by the LNP.<\/p>\n

The meeting will be held from 10:30am at St John’s Lutheran School Hall at 92 Ivy Street.<\/p>\n

Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington said Opposition Leader David Crisafulli and Shadow Minister for Health Ros Bates would also be attendance.<\/p>\n

“It’s an opportunity for our community to speak up, demand change and fight for the health care we deserve,” Mrs Frecklington said.<\/p>\n

“It’s an opportunity to support our stressed and overworked doctors and nurses.<\/p>\n

“Since the opening of the new Kingaroy Hospital in early 2021, I have been asking the Labor Government questions about staffing at the facility, problems with its construction and the lack of services we are still experiencing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“There is no doubt that the Kingaroy Hospital is a beautiful new building, and our community deserves this investment. However, while we have a shiny new hospital it has not guaranteed shiny new services. Help us shine a light on the problems we are facing with hospital services in our region.<\/p>\n

“Our doctors, nurses and other health staff are working as hard as they can, but the Queensland Health system is failing both them and patients.”<\/p>\n

The Kingaroy forum is the 20th \u201cQueensland Health Crisis\u201d meeting organised by the LNP.<\/p>\n

The MPs plan to take the personal experiences and stories of South Burnett residents straight to the floor of Parliament House to demand action and change.<\/p>\n

Registrations to attend the meeting can be made online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n
