Darling Downs Health has invited South Burnett residents to fill in a short online survey about the adequacy of health care … but you had better be quick, it closes on July 27<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

July 18, 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n

South Burnett residents have been invited to take part in the next stage of Darling Downs Health\u2019s project to help shape the future of health care in the region.<\/p>\n

Last month, the health service – which is responsible for all South Burnett public hospitals – launched its Local Area Health Needs Assessment.<\/p>\n

This aims to gain a better understanding of the health care needs of communities and prioritise and address any urgent gaps.<\/p>\n

The project has now moved into its next phase … a community-wide survey to collect health care experiences.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWe had a wonderful response to our first stage in which we asked people to share their stories,\u201d spokesperson Wendy Pannach said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese stories have informed our survey which is now open to all community members.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ms Pannach said the survey was aimed at building a complete picture of the health service region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are asking people to spend just five minutes completing this survey to have their say on the future of health care in their region,\u201d Ms Pannach said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to hear from patients, clients and consumers of all health care services.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe also want to hear from groups and organisations that are impacted by the work we do at Darling Downs Health.<\/p>\n

“That might include not-for-profit groups, other health care providers like GPs or aged care providers and local councils.\u201d<\/p>\n

The survey is open until July 27.<\/p>\n
