July 8, 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n

Murgon Show Society was forced to cancel their annual show earlier this year but they are making up for it in a big way this weekend!<\/p>\n

On Saturday, a stud beef and prime cattle show will be held at Murgon Showgrounds.<\/p>\n

Led steers will be at noon, followed by junior handlers from 2:00pm.<\/p>\n

Then on Saturday night, local singer Amber Goldsmith will be hitting the stage at 6:00pm with live music until 9:00pm.<\/p>\n

The public are invited to come along, and entry is free.<\/p>\n

Stud cattle judging will kick off events on Sunday from 8:00am.<\/p>\n

This will be followed by a National Rodeo Association daytime rodeo from 11:00am.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There will be bull rides and barrel racing from junior through to senior classes, with cash prizes.<\/p>\n

Admission to the rodeo is $15 for adults with children under 12 free.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Entry will be via the gates at the corner of Watt and Pearen streets.<\/p>\n

A canteen and bar will be operating both days.<\/p>\n

A special attraction on Sunday will be the auction of “Rusty”, a Crinkle Creek Garden Art dog created from corrugated iron off an old original shed at Murgon Showgrounds.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
