June 23, 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Nanango Race Club will be wrapping up its 2021-22 racing season this weekend with their Winter Race Meeting.<\/p>\n

Saturday’s meeting will have a “Winter Styles” fashion theme and patrons who dress to it will be able to win prizes in the Moffatdale Ridge Fashions Of the Field competition.<\/p>\n

There will also be six races on the card, with Race 1 scheduled to jump at 1:10pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Buses will be running to the races from Kingaroy\u2019s Glendon Street Bus Depot at noon, and the rear of Nanango’s Fitzroy Hotel at 12:30pm.<\/p>\n

Saturday’s races are being sponsored by the Rotary Club of Kingaroy, Jeff Hannaford, Patrick Sexton, Fresh As Cleaning, Nanango Veterinary Service and Heritage Bank Nanango.<\/p>\n

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for pensioners (under 15s are free) and gates open at 10:00am.<\/p>\n

The Club’s next meeting will be the Nanango Cup in August, which is always one of the race club’s biggest meets of the year.<\/p>\n
