An inquest will be held in Brisbane in September to examine the circumstances surrounding the suspicious death of former Cherbourg woman Constance Watcho, 36.<\/p>\n

Ms Watcho was reported missing by family members in November 2017.<\/p>\n

Her body was later located stuffed into an Urban Style duffle bag at the base of the Kangaroo Point cliffs in Brisbane on September 10, 2018.<\/p>\n

In 2019, a $250,000 reward was announced by police in a bid to solve the mystery.<\/p>\n

The Deputy State Coroner will now examine the circumstances of her death.<\/p>\n

A preliminary hearing, held in Brisbane on Tuesday, heard Ms Watcho had just been released from jail and was “couch surfing” when she went missing.<\/p>\n

Her partner allegedly told police he had not immediately reported her disappearance because it was not unusual for her to return to Cherbourg without telling him.<\/p>\n

The inquest is expected to last five days.<\/p>\n
