Cherbourg Hornets, still on a high after Selwyn Cobbo’s debut in State of Origin 1, hosted a full round of junior and senior rugby league games last Saturday.<\/p>\n

Coming off a narrow win last week, the home team shone in the A Grade game, downing the Kingaroy Red Ants 34-22.<\/p>\n

Nanango fans would also have gone home happy after the Stags’ seniors kept the Wondai Wolves to a solitary try in their 40-6 victory.<\/p>\n

This weekend, local rugby league games shift to Murgon Showgrounds.<\/p>\n
