Kingaroy Heritage Museum has welcomed the arrival of a large display cabinet for its military display, which is being renovated.<\/p>\n

The extra cabinet will enable museum volunteers to preserve and display military stories and memorabilia from the local community.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The purchase of the cabinet was supported by the Federal Government\u2019s Culture, Heritage and Arts Regional Tourism Program in collaboration with the Australian Museums and Galleries Association.<\/p>\n

\u201cProfessional display cabinets make such a difference to our displays,\u201d Cr Danita Potter said.<\/p>\n

\u201cBefore, we had to squeeze our precious artefacts into small spaces with difficult access. <\/p>\n

“Now, we can properly show off and house these historical objects that come directly from local families and mean so much.\u201d<\/p>\n
