Two teenage girls were transported to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition after being struck by a vehicle in Youngman Street, Kingaroy, on Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n

It is believed the girls were crossing the road when the incident occurred.<\/p>\n

A QAS spokesperson said one of the girls suffered a suspected head injury while the second had a suspected hip injury.<\/p>\n

Their injuries were not considered life-threatening.<\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to the corner of Alford Street just after 4:30pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Through traffic on Youngman Street was blocked as paramedics treated the two girls on the roadway.<\/p>\n

Police questioned the driver of a damaged Commodore sedan parked nearby and later drove him from the scene.<\/p>\n

Investigations into the incident are continuing.<\/p>\n
