Interested in developing a community arts project for your town? Then this workshop brought to the South Burnett by the team behind the Blackbutt Avocado Festival is for you!<\/p>\n

Creative producer Shelley Pisani will be hosting a workshop in Blackbutt on Saturday, July 2, as part of the Blackbutt Arts Strategy.<\/p>\n

Shelley has more than 25 years\u2019 experience in the arts industry, including 11 years as the co-director of Creative Regions.<\/p>\n

She has been involved in numerous regional arts initiatives and businesses including CQ Shopfront and The Ideas Distillery.<\/p>\n

Participants at the workshop will learn to design a community arts project, and the organising committee is now calling for people to register for this free workshop.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWe welcome all community members who would like to learn new skills or pitch a creative project to attend,” president Jeff Connor said.<\/p>\n

Attendees will learn step-by-step how to develop a project plan for a community arts project.<\/p>\n

The workshop will run from 9:00am-5:00pm at Blackbutt Memorial Hall.<\/p>\n

A follow-up Zoom workshop for participants with Ms Pisani will be held from 10:00am to noon, on July 23.<\/p>\n
