Saturday’s Biggest Morning Tea organisers Debbie MacAlpine and Debbie Neal<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

A morning tea held at the South Burnett Enterprise Centre on Saturday morning has raised $1016 for the Cancer Council Queensland.<\/p>\n

The “Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea” included games, raffles and a lucky door prize as well as a host of tasty nibblies to enjoy.<\/p>\n

The event, which attracted 36 people, was organised by a pair of South Burnett CTC employees, Debbie MacAlpine and Debbie Neal.<\/p>\n

Donations were also received from a number of local businesses.<\/p>\n

There have been a string of\u00a0 “Biggest Morning Teas” held in the South Burnett recently.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Graham House hosted an event in Murgon last Thursday which featured live music from the Rockin’ Our Abilities crew.<\/p>\n

The get together raised $415 for the Cancer Council Queensland as well as funds to support the Murgon Hospital Auxiliary.<\/p>\n

And a Biggest Morning Tea hosted by Lynnelle Seiler at Durong Hall on May 20 raised almost $4000.<\/p>\n

UPDATE: South Burnett Care will be holding a “Biggest Morning Tea … and Bake-Off!” on Thursday, June 16, from 10:00am to 11:00am, outside their centre on the corner of Kingaroy and Avoca streets, Kingaroy.<\/strong><\/p>\n
