Police are co-ordinating a search and rescue operation for a man reported missing at an Imbil campsite on Thursday morning.<\/p>\n

The 36-year-old man was last seen about 11:30pm on Wednesday night chasing his dog away from the Yabba Creek Road campsite.<\/p>\n

He was reported missing about 10:00am on Thursday after he failed to return or make contact with anyone.<\/p>\n

The campsite is currently isolated from foot and road access due to several flooded river crossings.<\/p>\n

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Helicopter has been called in to conduct an aerial search and swift water rescue crews have been assembled to gain safe access to the search area.<\/p>\n

Police are urging any residents in the area to check their properties.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The man is described as about 170cm tall with a proportionate build with brown hair and beard.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information has been urged to contact police.<\/p>\n

Earlier,\u00a0 a woman aged in her 50s was assessed by paramedics after she was rescued from a vehicle which had become submerged in floodwaters on Imbil Island Road at 8:12pm on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The woman was uninjured and did not require transport to hospital.<\/p>\n

Multiple vehicles were also caught in floodwaters on Beachmere Road near Caboolture late on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n
