The cup was taken home by Toowoomba-trained Hard Stride, ridden by Paul Hamblin.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere on the track, jockeys Todd Banks and Justin Stanley escaped serious injuries after falling from their mounts in Race 2.<\/p>\n<p>Eddiegato, with Banks on board, shifted out abruptly at the 100m mark despite the best efforts of its jockey, colliding with Attackabeel.<\/p>\n<p>Neither horse was hurt but Banks was excused from his rides for the rest of the meeting after injuring his hand.<\/p>\n<p><strong>[Photos by Kathy Duff]<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #006699;\"><strong>Results<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Race 1 \u2013 Murgon Bakery Ratings Band 0-60 Handicap (1100m)<\/strong><br \/>\n1.
