Time is running out to have your say during the State Government’s review into recent flooding in south-east Queensland.<\/p>\n

Residents have been invited to have their say as part of the Inspector-General of Emergency Management\u2019s review into the South-East Queensland rainfall and flooding event that occurred between February 22 and March 7.<\/p>\n

The Inspector-General of Emergency Management Alistair Dawson said public submissions would close at 4:00pm on Friday, April 22.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cIt is an important opportunity for the community to have their say about their experience from this event, and how they were affected by it,” Mr Dawson said.<\/p>\n

“Submissions provide an opportunity for the community to tell us what they think worked well in preparing for and responding to the event, and to make suggestions for enhancement. <\/p>\n

“We are keen to hear what the community has to say, and I encourage people to make a submission.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe welcome video files, photographs, historical records and other documents to support the submission.\u201d<\/p>\n
