Council waste facilities around the region will be closed on Good Friday and Anzac Day\u00a0<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

South Burnett Regional Council has warned residents that its waste management facilities will be closed on two upcoming public holidays.<\/p>\n

The facilities in Kingaroy, Murgon, Nanango, Wondai,\u00a0Blackbutt, Memerambi, Kumbia and Wattle Camp will be closed on Good Friday (April 15) but will be open on Easter Saturday (April 16).<\/p>\n

The facilities will also be closed on Anzac Day (April 25) but will be open on April 26.<\/p>\n

A Council spokesperson said kerbside general waste collection (wheelie bins) would not be affected by the public holidays.<\/p>\n

All collections scheduled on normal collection days will go ahead as usual.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
