Member for Flynn Ken O’Dowd has now officially retired.<\/p>\n

In a message to constituents left on social media, the LNP MP said it had been “both a privilege and honour” to be their Federal representative since 2010.<\/p>\n

“The 46th Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia has now dissolved and I have retired after four government terms,” Mr O’Dowd wrote.<\/p>\n

“I am no longer the sitting Member for the electorate of Flynn.<\/p>\n

“The Flynn electorate offices in Gladstone and Emerald will remain open and my former staff will be offering a limited service until the time the Election Polls are declared.<\/p>\n
