All around the South Burnett, part-time runners and joggers are in training for the 2013 Mother’s Day Classic fun run which has been organised by the Go Getta Girls running club.<\/p>\n

The charity run, to be held on May 12 in Kingaroy, raises money for breast cancer research.<\/p>\n

Last year’s event attracted more than 280 competitors.<\/p>\n

Closing date for online registrations<\/a> for the 2013 event is next Wednesday ( May 8 ) however registrations can also be made on the day from 7:00am.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Participants can choose from either a 4km walk\/run (which starts at 7:45am) or an 8km run (7:30am).<\/p>\n

The starting line will be at the bridge on Haly Street, Kingaroy, near Memorial Park.<\/p>\n

The course is all on bitumen roads and is suitable for prams and wheelchairs but dogs are not allowed.<\/p>\n

Entry fee is adults $20; students \/ Health Card holders $12; children (16yrs and under) $10; family (2 adults and up to 4 children) $50; family (1 adult and up to 4 children) $30<\/p>\n
