RACQ Foundation is offering community organisations affected by the recent floods grants worth up to $100,000.<\/p>\n

The special funding round, announced as part of the Foundation\u2019s Community Grants Program, will focus on supporting local groups such as sporting clubs, historical and show societies, men\u2019s sheds and charities that have been affected by the recent flooding in south-east Queensland.<\/p>\n

RACQ chief executive officer David Carter said applications for the new grants opened on Monday (March 7).<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cRACQ Foundation\u2019s purpose is to support Queenslanders who are impacted by natural disasters and these grants, worth up to $100,000 each, will help organisations get up and running again so they can help their communities,\u201d Mr Carter said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re proud to give back to these important organisations during their time of need and we encourage all those impacted by the floods to apply.\u201d<\/p>\n

While flood damage and impacts can vary among organisations and regions, some examples of projects that may benefit from the grants include:<\/p>\n
